MEP & Building Services

A building only works when its services do. We coordinate and install the electrical, plumbing and fire systems that make spaces safe, comfortable and ready to occupy.

The systems that make a building work.

Argentec delivers mechanical, electrical and plumbing works with the structure in mind, not after it. Services are coordinated with the civil programme from the start, so sleeves, shafts and routes are ready when installation begins.

Our MEP scope covers electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and high- and low-voltage systems, from detailed engineering coordination to installation, testing and handover.

  • Coordinated, not retro-fitted

Service routes planned with the structure to avoid clashes and core-cutting.

  • One accountable team

Civil and MEP under one contractor reduces interface gaps.

  • Ready to occupy

Testing and commissioning planned into the programme, not left to the end.

How we deliver

  1. 01

    Engineer

Review the MEP design and resolve gaps with the consultant.

  2. 02

    Coordinate

Prepare combined services drawings with structure and architecture.

  3. 03

    Procure

Approve materials and equipment against specification.

  4. 04

    Install

First-fix with the structure, second-fix with finishes.

  5. 05

    Test

Test every system and record the results.

  6. 06

    Commission

Commission systems, train facility staff and hand over documents.

Project applications

  • Residential

    Apartment towers and gated communities.

  • Commercial offices

    Floor-plate distribution and common-area services.

  • Healthcare & institutional

Buildings where service reliability is critical.

  • Data centres

Facilities with demanding power and fire-protection needs.

Quality, safety & coordination

  • Q

    Quality

Material approvals, inspection at first and second fix, and documented testing of every system before it is handed over.

  • S

    Safety

Electrical isolation procedures, permit-to-work for live systems and supervised testing protect workers and the building.

  • C

    Coordination

Combined services drawings are agreed before installation, and MEP openings are frozen with the structural team before pours.

Frequently asked questions

Which MEP services does Argentec cover?

Electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and high- and low-voltage systems, from detailed engineering coordination to execution. Other specialist systems can be coordinated through approved specialist contractors.

Do you design MEP systems?

MEP design is normally provided by the project's MEP consultant. We review, coordinate and develop shop drawings for installation.

Can MEP be awarded separately from civil works?

Yes. It can be a standalone package or part of a combined civil and MEP or turnkey scope.

How do you avoid clashes between services and structure?

Combined services drawings are reconciled with the structural and architectural drawings before work starts, and openings are confirmed before each pour.

What do we receive at handover?

Test reports, commissioning records, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance information for each system.
